Individual Therapy

A Happier, Healthier You

What Is Individual Therapy?

Individual therapy is a one-on-one conversation with a trained therapist—someone who’s there to listen, support, and help you navigate life’s challenges. It’s a space just for you, where you can speak openly and honestly without fear of judgment.

Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or unsure about what you're feeling, therapy can help you make sense of it all. It's not about having something “wrong” with you—it's about having a place to understand yourself better and learn ways to move forward with more clarity and confidence.

How Individual Therapy Can Help

People come to therapy for all kinds of reasons—stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship struggles, past trauma, or simply wanting to feel more like themselves again. Whatever you're facing, therapy offers support and practical tools to help you cope, heal, and grow.

In our work together, I often draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you recognize unhelpful thought patterns and develop healthier ways of thinking and responding. I also use mindfulness techniques to help you stay grounded, build emotional awareness, and feel more present in your everyday life. I work from a holistic viewpoint and, when applicable, incorporate lifestyle changes. These may include help with sleep, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia, as well as simple practices such as prioritizing walks and time in nature.

Therapy can be a powerful step toward greater self-understanding, resilience, and well-being. You're not alone—and you don’t have to figure it all out by yourself.
